3600EX is a highly intumescent water base acrylic firestop caulk material. It has been designed to stop the spread of fire, smoke and gases through fire rated assemblies in building. This expansive can be used to fill voids and gaps created during construction to accommodate service-penetrating items. 3600EX has been tested in 1-4 hour rated floor and wall assemblies. It has excellent adhesion qualities with the most common construction materials. Applicators will experience a caulking that when applied correctly, flows readily, does not slump or sag and is easy to tool. 3600EX can be dispenced using standard caulking tools. After fully cured, 3600EX will remain flexible, water resistant and paintable. | |
